Festivus, as you no doubt already know, is a secular holiday celebrated on December 23 as an alternative to the pressures and commercialism of the Christmas season.
Juniper has already set up our traditional, unadorned metal pole, and we’re planning on hosting the customary airing of grievances and feats of strength. We’ll also be hosting musician Will Nutt from 8-10 p.m. on Festivus night (Saturday, Dec. 23), so expect a few seasonal songs in the spirit of Festivus.
Join us for some yet-to-be-announced Festivus food and beverage specials. We’ll be giving away door prizes for ugly sweaters, grievances, feats of strength and we’ll have a few other fun and games on tap. Admission is free, and we will be making a donation to The Human Fund on behalf of all attendees.
FESTIVUS: SATURDAY, DEC. 23 — Doors open at 4 p.m. with the full Festivus Miracles happening 7-11 p.m.
